Hi I'm Sarah I live in ND and am in an LDR with an amazing girl Theresa aka Tess (more often than Theresa). She lives in PA that is 1618 miles apart. We don't get to skype much because of my family and both of us working but we talk on the phone when I can. And I thank her for being here for me through the recent upheaval in my life and the lives of my family. I love her to pieces. I am a huge fandom nerd. I am in college working to work with people with disabilities and in an undeclared minor. Tess and I have plans to move in together this summer, in July or August. You can talk to me about anything and my ask box is usually open every once in a while it closes for things that are more important but there will be a warning.

Grandma, you had a good long life but it's still too soon for you to be gone from us. We all wanted you there for things that you can't physically be present for any more. Please know that you are sorely missed, by your daughters, inlaws and grandchildren, but perhaps most of all your husband. We were glad for one last Christmas with you. And everything else you have done for us.

Also, Nolan is not basically Irisa’s dad. He is her dad. There is no basically. He raised her. He made sure she was fed and clothed. He held her when she needed to be held. Took care of her when she was sick. There’s no basically.
the only thing Nolan doesn’t have to Irisa is a biological relation. And we have seen time and again that a biological relation doesn’t make someone your kid, and not being the biological parent to someone doesn’t make you any less their parent. Nolan is Irisa’s dad, he decided that the moment he found her in Denver being tortured by Dygo and his little cult whatever thing that was going on with them. He has been there ever since, Irisa’s biological parents clearly weren’t great people, they gave her to Dygo and his cult, participated in the rituals. Nolan has sat up with her through all of her nightmares, her visions (yes even though he thought this was PTSD), any time she was hurt, sick, scared. Nolan was the person who was there, he is her dad. He’s always been her dad. So no they don’t share a culture, they aren’t of the same people but what does that matter when you see them interact, they are clearly loyal to one another. And this last episode with Eddie and Nolan proves how loyal.

He doesn’t hesitate to set the facts straight, he says it time again the show says it time and again. He raised her he’s his daughter, and she may not call him dad, she calls him Nolan more often than not but he is her dad. She knows that if she is scared, hurt, sick or any number of other things that Nolan will be the person who will do what she needs.
